HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday received in audience Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Patricia Scotland. The ceremony was held at the Istana Nurul Iman.
During the audience ceremony, His Majesty and Patricia Scotland discussed matters pertaining to the Commonwealth including priorities and commitments agreed by leaders at the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in London last April.
Also present at the ceremony were Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Hajah Siti Norishan binti Haji Abdul Ghafor.
