HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon received in audience Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato’ Saifuddin bin Abdullah.
Accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia during the audience ceremony were Undersecretary, Southeast Asia Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Eldeen Husaini bin Mohd Hashim; and Charge d’Affaires who is also Minister Counsellor at the High Commission of Malaysia in Brunei Darussalam Rafedah binti Abdul Aziz.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Emaleen binti Abdul Rahman Teo were also present.
Dato’ Saifuddin was sworn in as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia on July 2.
The audience ceremony took place at the Istana Nurul Iman.
