PUSAT Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam yesterday received a donation amounting BND5,000 in a ceremony held at McDonald’s in Jerudong.
The donation was a collaborative effort by Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru), Tele Directories Sdn Bhd (Yellow Pages), Daikyo Environmental Recycling Sdn Bhd and Makan Ceria Sdn Bhd.
Policy and Planning Trustee of Pusat Ehsan Haji Ahmad bin Haji Abdul Rahman received mock cheques from TelBru, Yellow Pages and Daikyo Environmental Recycling Sdn Bhd through ‘Yellow Pages Recycling Initiative’, a programme led by TelBru. This was followed by refreshments and entertainment for the group.
In her opening speech, TelBru Chief Corporate Services Officer Hajah Rosmawati binti Haji Manaf said, “In our continuous efforts to give back to the community, TelBru aims to support the various aspects of children’s welfare, including but not limited to special needs and disadvantaged children/youth. We hope that this event is the start of many collaborations between TelBru and the private sectors.”
Representing Yellow Pages was its Managing Director James Lee while Daikyo Environmental Recycling Sdn Bhd was represented by its Managing Director Hung Ah Hing.
