A 25-YEAR-OLD Chinese woman from Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia embraced Islam during a ceremony at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Belait District on September 15.
The new convert adopted the name Nur Arya Maisara binti Abdullah Sim @ Sim Hua Fei.
Present as witness was Assistant Head of the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Belait District Ustazah Hajah Salimah binti Haji Hassan.
Ustazah Hajah Salimah binti Haji Hassan presented gifts to Nur Arya Maisara followed by a Dikir Marhaban and Doa Selamat.
The Islamic Da’wah Centre in the Belait District has recorded 62 Muslim converts since the beginning of 2018, compared to over 68 converts in 2017.
