SARAWAK Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Abang Haji Openg arrived at the Brunei International Airport (BIA) yesterday afternoon for a two-day visit.
Present at the airport to greet the Sarawak Chief Minister and his spouse Datin Patinggi Dato Hajah Juma’ani binti Tun Tuanku Haji Bujang was Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar and spouse.
Also in attendance were officers and staff members from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Civil Aviation and the Malaysian High Commission. In the evening, the Malaysian High Commission hosted a banquet in honour of the Sarawak Chief Minister at the Li Gong, The Empire Hotel & Country Club.
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has also consented to grant an audience to the Sarawak Chief Minister.
He will also attend a bilateral meeting chaired by Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong.
