FIRST Deputy Chairman of the Muftis Council of Russia Rushan Abbyasov and his delegation yesterday paid a visit to Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kiarong.
Acting Director of Mosque Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri welcomed the delegation.
The delegation was briefed on the historical background of the mosque, before they were taken on a tour of the prayer halls to observe the activities carried out at the mosque.
The delegation is in the Sultanate for a visit and to launch the Traditions of Islam in Russia exhibition.
