THE Volunteer Unit of the Community Development Department (JAPEM) encourages more male participants to become JAPEM volunteers.
Speaking at the orientation for new JAPEM volunteers at Berakas Forest Reserve in Berakas recently, Head of the JAPEM Volunteer Unit Rogayah binti Haji Abdullah said the number of female volunteers top the list of their male counterparts.
She encouraged more male participants to become JAPEM volunteers.
She added that there are 47 new volunteers, with 36 being females and only 11 males.

The JAPEM Volunteer Unit will organise a Financial Literacy event at Imtiaz Hall of Pusat Bahagia this Sunday from 8am to noon and 2pm to 4.30pm.
Thirty registered JAPEM volunteers will attend the event.
