THE Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Brunei Darussalam recently hosted an educational visit for TinkerBell Learning School students and teachers.
The visit was to provide students a better understanding of another culture. Ambassador of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam U Htin Lynn and spouse, Daw Hnin Hnin Ko, and embassy officials welcomed the delegation.
The students were briefed on Myanmar’s rich culture, its people, society and tourist attractions. The group experienced Myanmar’s traditional organic make-up, a yellowish-white cosmetic paste made from the bark of the tha na kha tree.
They also tasted Myanmar’s famous and popular fish soup with rice noodles, a traditional breakfast option.
The visit coincided with the school’s United Nations celebration on October 13, 2018, aimed to promote the important role the United Nations plays in providing a secure ‘Future For Our Children.’
