THE Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) extended heartfelt condolence and deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Third Warrant Officer (3WO) Muhamad Sadikin bin Hasban, a Singapore Armed Forces personnel who passed away on Tuesday morning after sustaining injuries from a falling tree branch while performing his duty in Brunei Darussalam.
MinDef officers and staff together with RBAF personnel performed the Sunnat Jenazah prayer yesterday at the Surau Ad-Difa’ of Bolkiah Garrison for the late Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) personnel, Third Warrant Officer (3WO) Muhammad Sadikin.
The Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil prayers were recited, before they paid their last respects and performed the prayer, which was led by Acting Head of RBAF Religious Department Major Ariffin bin Amit.
RBAF Commander Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud attended the event, alongside permanent secretaries at the MinDef, deputy permanent secretaries, defence representatives from SAF and family members of the deceased, as well as MinDef and RBAF personnel.
The body of 3WO Muhammad Sadikin was flown to Singapore in a military aircraft yesterday.
