LAKSAMANA College of Business (LCB) and Guangxi Financial Vocational College from China yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a ceremony at LCB in Jalan Tutong.
Director of LCB and Plaza Abdul Razak Holdings Sdn Bhd Haji Awang Suhaimei bin Haji Awang Besar signed on behalf of LCB, while Guangxi Financial Vocational College was represented by its Vice President Xie Peishan.
The MoU will enable LCB and Guangxi Financial Vocational College to further strengthen their educational cooperation as they look to work together in student exchanges as well as teaching and research collaborations covering various areas in education.
The agreement covers faculty exchanges – especially in management, accounting, finance, computing and hospitality; possible student exchanges for short-term visits and learning; joint academic events and activities, including short courses, seminars, workshops and/or conferences based on mutual interest and institutional expertise.
The MoU will also allow LCB to build more global alliances with academic and research partners around the world.
The delegation of six senior officials of Guangxi Financial Vocational College was given a brief tour of LCB.
The delegates included Faculty Director Lu Ling, Deputy Director Luo Zhenzi, Lecturer Yan Rongrong, Lecturer Yi Honggang and CIIE Manager Huang Rui.
