THE Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) through the Muallaf Development Section organised a closing ceremony for the 10th series of the basic guidance scheme for converts at the new building of the centre yesterday.
Guest of honour, Acting Assistant Director of PDI Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdul Kahar presented certificates to 10 converts.
The ceremony began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yaasiin by Ait Dumessaoud Mourad followed by a welcoming remark by Assistant Head of the Muallaf Development Section Dayangku Ida Fariani binti Pengiran Haji Kamaluddin.
The 14-day scheme aimed to enhance the converts’ understanding on Islamic teachings and provide guidance in appreciating Islam in their daily life.
