THE Korean Festival 2018 hosted by The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Brunei Darussalam and co-organised by Times Square Shopping Centre and Korea Tourism Organization ended with a bang on Sunday.
The event took place at the Atrium of Times Square Shopping Centre from October 26-28.
Exhibitors at the festival included Sinar Tour Korea, Korea Tourism Organization, Pan Bright Travel Service, DKM Restaurant, Seoul Garden Sdn Bhd, Anthony Tours & Travel Agency Sdn Bhd, Cuckoo International (B) Sdn Bhd and Ceragam.
The three-day event was also enlivened with fun activities, workshops and demonstrations including a cooking class, Hanbok dress-up and photo booth, peanut race, taekwondo demonstration, make-up and hair styling demonstration, tourism promotion, quizzes and Korean traditional games.
Apart from that, Korea’s Ongals Babbling Perfordians entertained attendees with their comedic talent during the opening ceremony on Friday and yesterday afternoon at the shopping centre.
A lucky draw campaign was also held throughout the festival and participated by about 700 customers, with the prize presentation taking place last night where 15 lucky winners brought home prizes such as food vouchers and gadgets.
Grand prize winner Nuuraaisyah binti Arman won one return flight ticket to South Korea sponsored by Pan Bright Travel Service while second place winner Rujiah binti Haji Daud brought home Ceraball sponsored by Ceragem and third place winner Pengiran Bakar bin Pengiran Haji Duraman won a rice cooker sponsored by Cuckoo.
Present during the lucky draw prize presentation were representatives of all the exhibitors.
