BRITISH Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Brunei Darussalam Paul Scully MP starts his first working visit to the Sultanate today to further promote the United Kingdom (UK) and Brunei trade relations.
The British politician is scheduled to meet with key government officials to discuss exploring commercial opportunities in the oil and gas sector, the financial services sector, and in education and training.
Paul Scully is one of 33 British trade envoys appointed by the British Prime Minister to engage with one or more emerging markets with substantial trade and investment opportunities.
The trade envoy strives for economic growth by building on the UK’s existing relations with these markets and maximising bilateral trade.
Paul Scully MP launched the Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) direct (non-stop) flight from London to Brunei on October 29. He was delighted to use the flight a week after it began.
