THE four-day Mini Fisheries Carnival organised by Radims Fisheries Trading Co in collaboration with local fisheries entrepreneurs and Fisheries Department at the Fish Landing Complex in Muara ended recently.
The carnival held in conjunction with the ‘Farmers, Livestock Breeders and Fishermen Day 2018’, received encouraging response from the public.
According to the organiser, the event acted as an opportunity to help the local entrepreneurs to market their products and at the same time to promote the consumption of healthy food.
The fish were brought fresh from the sea and sold inexpensively.
The carnival was participated by local entrepreneurs in fisheries industries and local seafood processing industries, who sold dried fish, crackers, chili paste and more.
The event also offered a live seafood cooking demonstration by chefs from the Indonesian Chef Association Brunei.
