THE Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin received a courtesy call from the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, Republic of Singapore Masagos Zulkifli bin Masagos Mohamad yesterday.
The courtesy call was held at the office of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Masagos Zulkifli is in the country to attend the Religious Ministers Meeting of MABIMS (Brunei Darussalam, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia and Republic of Singapore).
High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Lim Hong Huai and Deputy High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Raymond Chow were also present.
Both sides exchanged thoughts and views on related issues. Best practices in assisting and supporting families in need as well as empowering towards the development of children were also discussed.
The discussion also covered cooperation in volunteerism in the form of programmes or youth exchange programmes from both countries.
