HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning held a bilateral meeting with Republic of Korea President Moon Jae-in at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore.
During the meeting, His Majesty and South Korean President Moon discussed regional and international matters, including the proposal of the Republic of Korea’s chairmanship of the ASEAN-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit in 2019.
Accompanying His Majesty were Special Advisor to His Majesty and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa bin Pehin Datu Perdana Manteri Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Ibrahim and Minister of Foreign Affairs II Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof.
Also present in the meeting was Director of National Security for the Republic of Korea Chung Eui-yong.
