EPSON, top Japanese printer-maker for the last 10 years and local partner Concepts Computer, launched the latest range of Epson EcoTank printers for Brunei market during a ceremony on Thursday.

General Manager of Concepts Computer Vincent Pao, Managing Director for Epson Malaysia Daisuke Hori and Epson Sales Manager, Retail Division (Malaysia) Eric Tang were present.

Daisuke Hori in an interview said, “The income of the people in Brunei is higher so we are hoping to sell more high value products here.”

Eric Tang said, “We have been working with Concepts since 2011. Concepts has shown very good commitment to Epson and consistently meet the targets. Concepts is a good partner and we hope to continue and grow this relationship.”

Vincent said, “Concepts Computer has been working hand-in-hand as partners with Epson and has also won multiple awards for achievements in business development in the Brunei market on behalf of Epson, as well as hitting multiple milestones in terms of the introduction of various Epson products. These include the introduction of the Epson ink tank printers, the first genuine ink tank printer to ever be developed for the retail market.

“Concepts Computer puts a lot of worth in value and we believe that these new printers from Epson will be valuable to businesses and most corporate users not only in terms of monetary value, that is cost-saving, but also in terms of value in usage, that is print quality and product quality, making them great tools for any business, work environment and educational institutions,” he said.

Known previously as the L and M series of printers, the newly rebranded Epson EcoTank printers come with a new streamlined design, integrated ink tanks, compact sizes and mess-free refill ink bottles.

With the launch, Epson and Concepts Computer will expand its market-leading range to offer wider selections through the Epson EcoTank L and M series, allowing schools, businesses or professional users to choose the most suitable model for their needs.

Vincent added, “Concepts Computer is thankful to Daisuke Hori for visiting Brunei and presenting a token of appreciation as well as initiating the first step to a greater leap for the Epson-Concepts partnership.”
