Indonesian visitors learn more about bottled water production

A DELEGATION from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Brunei Darussalam conducted a working visit to the manufacturing and packaging facility of IBIC Sdn Bhd in the Belait District recently.

General Manager of IBIC Alexander Barita Simbolon and staff welcomed the delegation.

The delegation was led by Indonesian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Dr Sujatmiko. Also present were officers and staff members from the embassy.

Established in 1991, IBIC Sdn Bhd represents a collaborative effort between Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia, and well known for the production of the bottled mineral water ‘Sehat’.

The group was briefed on the production process conducted through its multi-step filtration system, source retrieval from the depth of 200m; to ensure that the bottled water safe to drink, but also balanced and well maintained in mineral content.

Dr Sujatmiko also presented a token to the General Manager of IBIC.
