MINISO yesterday opened its doors to the public with a grand opening of its first franchise store in Brunei at Aman Hills Shopping Centre.
Miniso Country Representative (Brunei) Alex Wang, Managing Partner Chang Ai Lee, Gina Tan and Lim Hui Ling were also in attendance.
“I would say the establishment of Miniso has created a brand new lifestyle to provide products of good quality at low price to customers to meet their needs and expectation,” Chang Ai Lee said.
“Miniso has over 2,600 stores, and we are very happy that Brunei has been added to the map of its global market franchise store in 2018,” she added.
The grand opening was marked with a ribbon-cutting by Alex Wang, Chang Ai Lee and Gina Tan. Miniso visitors were treated to a drum performance and food. To celebrate the opening, Miniso has rolled out a three-day promotion for customers.
Miniso is a Japan-based designer brand, co-founded by Japanese designer Miyake Junya and a Chinese entrepreneur, Ye Guofo. It is a concept store focussed mainly on leisure products.
