THE Employees Trust Fund (TAP) yesterday hosted a fun-filled family day celebration for its staff and families to forge closer ties.
TAP and Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) also handed over donations in the form of school supplies to orphans of TAP employees and residents from Kampong Jerudong during the event at Jerudong Park Colonnade.
BIBD also handed over a donation totalling BND2,000 to the National Association for the Hearing Impaired (OKP).
The donations were handed over by Permanent Secretary (Safety, Welfare and Law) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Mohd Amir Hairil bin Haji Mahmud, who is also a TAP Board member.
Some of the activities during the event included a mass aerobic session and a walkathon, as well as family oriented games.
TAP said the event aims to inculcate a culture of cooperation, unity and also forge closer ties not just between TAP employees, but also their family members.
