SYARIAH Subordinate Court Judge at the Syariah Subordinate Court in Tutong District Pengiran Haji Shahril Azman bin Pengiran Haji Metusin emphasised on how acts of charity can bring about positive effects, as a spiritual investment in gaining the blessings from Allah the Almighty.
He made these comments during yesterday’s pre-dawn lecture on the virtues of charity.
Among those present were Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Syariah Court of Appeal Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Setia Raja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Suhaili bin Haji Mohiddin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof and Permanent Secretary (Corporate Affairs and Public Administration) at the Prime Minister’s Office Haji Roslan bin Haji Taja’ah.
The pre-dawn talk was jointly organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Prime Minister’s Office, as part of the Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat programme to motivate more active participation for mass Subuh prayer at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
