PUSAT Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam invited the public to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 15 and 16 at Jerudong Park Colonnade.
The highlight of the celebration will be a special performance by the Royal Brunei Navy band and the Brass band from 8pm.
Other activities include colouring contests, henna and face painting, Bootcamp by Fitness Zone, Mobile Legends Tournament as well as performances by local artists.
This was shared during a press conference at the Brunei Tourism Development Department.
According to a member of the Board of Trustees of Pusat Ehsan Haji Ahmad bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the objective of the event is to raise funds for the centre.
He added that the event is also to instil awareness and involvement of the public in helping people with disabilities.
The admission fee to the event does not include the entrance ticket to Jerudong Park Playground. Pusat Ehsan’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities Celebration is also part of the on-going Brunei December Festival 2018.
