PUSAT Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam’s celebrations for International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2018 ended on a high note yesterday, with fun-filled activities for a charitable cause at the Jerudong Park Colonnade.
The two-day event featured colouring contests, henna and face painting, a Fitness Zone bootcamp, a Mobile Legends mini-tournament and performances by children from the centre alongside local artistes.
The public was treated to special performances from the Royal Brunei Navy Band, while the winners of the Mobile Legends mini-tournament received their prizes from member of the Pusat Ehsan Board of Trustees Haji Ahmad bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
The event was held as a fundraiser to finance the services and programmes at the centre, including education, training, assist care and rehabilitation.
Pusat Ehsan’s celebrations for International Day of Persons with Disabilities also formed part of the ongoing Brunei December Festival 2018.
