LOCAL darts ace Pengiran Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Matersad claimed top spot in the Individual and Doubles categories of the Brunei Darts Open Championship 2018, which was held at the Youth Development Centre in Tanah Jambu.
The champion received BND1,000 cash prize in the Doubles category sharing his winnings with young dart player Awangku Hamdi bin Pengiran Mansor, as well as an additional BND300 cash prize for his win in the Individual category.
Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong presented the prizes.
Also present were Chairman of the Brunei Dart Championship 2018 Supian bin Haji Khamis along with members of Youth Community Transformational Club (KKBT) and Brunei National Darts Association.
Over 300 darters competed in the championship, which saw participation from Sabah, Sarawak, Federal Territory of Labuan and the Philippines.
