The Baden Powell Award was presented to scout members who have passed four badges in the Scouts Training Scheme – one of these is the State Badge which focusses on Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) principles. To receive the award, the scouts must also pass the four badges on physical, scouting and life skills, entrepreneurship and services.

The SWA, an international scout recognition administered by the Scouts of the World Award is to encourage active involvement of rover scouts aged between 18 and 26 in community building by making them more sensitive toward current world issues (such as the environment, global development and peace), on the other hand provides youth a platform to enable them to become global citizens.

Following the award presentation, His Royal Highness consented to deliver his sabda for the 1st ASEAN Rover Moot closing ceremony.

Prior to leaving the ceremony, the Deputy Sultan consented to a meet-and-greet session with the heads of the participating ASEAN scouts associations and a group photo with all involved in the 1st ASEAN Rover Moot.

Held from December 12-17, the 1st ASEAN Rover Moot was participated by 350 representatives from seven ASEAN member countries and over 100 scout visitors from ASEAN and the Asia-Pacific region.
