SUCCESS doesn’t come naturally, but is gained through hard work and constant supplications to Allah the Almighty, said Muhammad Haziq Syafiq bin Haji Aisha, a student from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
He made these comments while delivering the pre-dawn talk at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital yesterday.
“Everyone deserves and has the right to succeed, but it requires diligent efforts and sincere appeals to Allah the Almighty, to ease the journey and open all doors to success with His blessings,” said Muhammad Haziq Syafiq.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, in his capacity as the Acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, was present.
Permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries and senior officers from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO); the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA); and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) were also present.
This week’s programme was organised by the MoRA, in collaboration with the MCYS and the PMO, to boost the number of congregants for the mass Subuh prayer.
