The Belait Festival Talent Show was organised by RYS Entertainment, in collaboration with the Belait District Office, and the Kuala Belait and Seria Municipal Board.

The Belait Festival 2018 was officially launched last Friday, with a host of activities spread over the weekend, as part of Brunei December Festival 2018. It was officiated by the Acting Belait District Officer, Ridzuan bin Haji Ahmad, at the recreational park in Jalan Sungai, Kuala Belait.

Also present in a show of support was Assistant Secretary of the Kuala Belait and Seria Municipal Department Pengiran Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Mohd Ali.

The festival involved road closures in the heart of Pekan Belait, for the setting up of various zones to incorporate family-oriented activities and exhibitions from government bodies.

Among the highlights were a three-on-three Street Basketball Tournament, a Night Walk featuring the first-ever Light Tunnel in the district, a Jom Makan area, and the Talent Show contest.
