THE Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports concluded the Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam Leadership Activity Course at the Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam (OBBD) Batang Duri Camp recently.
The course saw a total of 32 participants comprising of 16 males and 16 females from youth associations as well as officers and staff from the ministry.
The objective was to strengthen the bonds between youth leaders, enhancing their identity and ability as leaders, and enlivening the potential leadership in the youth.
The results saw an increase in the leadership skills of the association members in managing and administrating their associations, as well as exposed them to outdoor practical training in enhancing physical and mental endurance.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports plays a very important role in educating and giving guidance towards the development and excellence of youth institutions and the role of youth associations as a platform that educates young leaders.
