A BRIEFING and explanation session titled ‘Establishing Identity to Address Social Issues’ was held specifically for pre-released inmates at the Maraburong Prison Institution, Tutong, last Saturday.
The briefing was delivered by representatives from the Chairman of the Aftercare Brunei Darussalam Committee (PROTEM) Haji Mustapa bin Haji Masri; Managing Director of Asia Enterprise Chai Yum Fatt; and General Manager of Sabli Group of Companies Jasmadi bin Haji Jamudin.
Through the briefing, the pre-released inmates in the Rakan Seliaan Programme were able to listen to training and work opportunities from the private sector and non-government organisations (NGOs) to change their life so they will become productive individuals in society.
