ANTICIPATION filled the air at Mobile World in Gadong yesterday as the 10 finalists in the inaugural Oppo’s Grand Lucky Draw eagerly waited to see if their names would be called as one of the lucky winner to drive home a brand new Suzuki Swift.
The promotion, which ran from August 1 to December 31, 2018, attracted some 8,000 entries; however, only 100 names were shortlisted during the final draw.
To enter the draw customers had to purchase any Oppo products from local authorised dealerships during the promotional period and place their receipt in the entry box.
Prior to the grand draw, shortlisted winners had a chance to win consolation prizes including exclusive merchandise from the Oppo, 10 units of Oppo latest smartphones, 10 units of Oppo flagship smartphones as well as three units of 65″ 4K Smart TV.
Customers also had the chance to join in Oppo quizzes and win attractive prizes. However, only 10 names were shortlisted for the Grand Lucky Draw. Mohd Ali Hanafiah bin Haji Salleh, 41, was elated when he was named the winner of the Oppo’s Grand Lucky Draw, which was presented to him by Director of Mobile World, Zubaidah binti Zainol and General Manager of Vicom Enterprise Kevin Lim. Also present was Oppo Malaysia Product Ambassador Syafiq Kyle.
“This was the first ‘Win a Car’ lucky draw organised by Oppo Brunei held in show of appreciation for our loyal customer. Due to overwhelming response, we will organise more activities in the future to help push the latest Oppo brand in the country,” said General Manager of Vicom Enterprise, the official distributor of Oppo products in Brunei.
