Bilateral meetings cement Brunei-S’pore ties

THE Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) of Brunei Darussalam hosted the 4th Bilateral Meeting between security and enforcement agencies of Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore, and the 3rd Bilateral Meeting between the MoHA of Brunei Darussalam and the MoHA of the Republic of Singapore.

The meetings were held at the PMO yesterday.

The meetings were co-chaired by Permanent Secretary (Security and Enforcement) at the PMO Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Haji Muhamad Sazali bin Pengiran Haji Yakob, Acting Permanent Secretary (Security, Welfare and Law) at the MoHA Ajman bin Haji Meludin and Permanent Secretary of the MoHA of the Republic of Singapore Pang Kin Keong.

Heads of departments and senior officers from the security and safety agencies from both countries were also present.

The Singapore delegation is currently in Brunei Darussalam for a two-day visit that includes friendly games to foster the spirit of continuous and established cooperation among the security and safety agencies.

The bilateral meetings are held annually and chaired alternately between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore. The meetings serve as a platform for exchange and sharing of information.
