A TOTAL of 88 students from Year 7 at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Secondary School yesterday attended a briefing, which is part of an ongoing programme by the Information Department under the Prime Minister’s Office.
Head of the Nationhood Unit at the Information Department Hajah Hamsah binti Datu Kerna Haji Jaya conducted the briefing at the school’s theatre hall.
The students were informed about the history of the national flag as well as the correct procedure of hoisting and lowering the national flag.
The students also participated in a quiz and received prizes for the correct answer.
Principal of YSHHB Secondary School Chong Li Chen was in attendance as well as members of the academic staff.
