Goodwill visit underscores strong Brunei, Singapore ties

THE Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud received a goodwill visit from the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Singapore Pang Kin Keong yesterday.

Permanent Secretary (Security and Enforcement)) at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Haji Muhamad Sazali bin Pengiran Haji Yakob and Acting Permanent Secretary (Safety, Welfare and Law) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Ajman bin Haji Meludin were present during the goodwill visit.

During the visit, the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office underlined the importance of mutual relationship and cooperation between the two countries in addressing and tackling crime including transnational crimes.

Pang Kin Keong is in Brunei Darussalam as Head of the Singapore delegation to attend the 4th Bilateral Meeting between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore.
