SETIA Perdana recorded their first victory in the DST Super League after a 2-1 win over IKLS to move out of the bottom of the table at the Berakas Sports Complex recently.
Aziz Hanafi bin Haji Bakri opened the scoring in the 31st minute before Awangku Muhd Syahiirudin bin Pengiran Haji Tengah drew IKLS level in the 61st minute.
Md Khairul bin Abdul Halim helped retake the lead for the promoted team four minutes later which proved the winner.
The result meant that they leapfrogged Najip FC by a point with four points in the table. They are still six points adrift of IKLS but do have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, in another match, Kota Ranger FC hit six past Lun Bawang in a 6-2 victory at the Batu Apoi Sports Complex in Temburong district.
Kota Ranger, who were involved in the title race last season, currently lie in fifth place while Lun Bawang sit seventh.
