DES A Cow! Restaurant yesterday hosted a corporate luncheon to mark the unofficial launch of the restaurant at Desa Cattle Farm in Kundasang, Sabah.
The restaurant is managed and owned by Lizora Holdings Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Brunei’s Pan Bright Travel Service abroad.
Desa Plus Sdn Bhd/Desa Lestari Sdn Bhd Chairman Datuk Raime Unggi, member of the Board Of Directors of Desa Plus Sdn Bhd/Desa Lestari Sdn Bhd Datuk Juriji bin Awang Yaccob and former Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Datuk Haji Awang Sahak bin Awang Salleh attended the luncheon.
General Manager of Sabah Tourism Board Suzaini Datuk Sabdin Ghani, Director of Tourism Malaysia Sabah Jamilah Halim, Director of Tourism Malaysia Brunei Haji Ibrahim Seddiqi Talib, General Manager of Ming Garden Hotel Patrick Lau, guests, media representatives from Sabah, and officials from the Sabah Tourism Board, Tourism Malaysia Sabah and Brunei, Ming Garden Hotel and Malaysia Airlines, and the Des A Cow! Restaurant management team also attended.
Following the luncheon, guests were taken on a personal tour of Desa Cattle Farm and briefed on the hygiene, operational and services of the farm.
Established in May 2018, Des A Cow! – whose name combines the phrase ‘There’s a cow…out there!’ with the location itself (Desa Cattle Farm) – serves affordable Western, oriental and local dishes.
The restaurant can accommodate 160 people, and can cater to small and medium private and corporate functions.
