HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, yesterday received in audience newly appointed Brunei Darussalam envoys and newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam in separate audiences.
His Royal Highness first received in audience Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in Geneva, Swiss Confederation Hajah Masurai binti Haji Masri; Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York, United States Hajah Noor Qamar binti Haji Sulaiman; High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom Pengiran Hajah Rooslina Weti binti Pengiran Haji Kamaludin and Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Haji Adnan bin Haji Mohd Ja’afar.
Hajah Masurai was previously the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; Hajah Noor Qamar previously held the post of Senior Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Pengiran Hajah Rooslina Weti had served as Acting High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom and Haji Adnan had formerly served as Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The newly appointed Brunei Darussalam envoys received their Letters of Credence from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on January 15, 2019.
His Royal Highness then received in separate audiences the newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
His Royal Highness first received in audience Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Brunei Darussalam Jassim Ali Abdullah Al Obaidli, who was previously Ambassador at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
His Royal Highness then received High Commissioner of the Republic of India to Brunei Darussalam Ajaneesh Kumar, who previously held the post of Deputy Director General in the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) in New Delhi.
His Royal Highness then received in audience Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam Emad bin Abdul Aziz bin Saad Al Muhanna, who formerly served as Director of the Undersecretary Office for Protocol Affairs.
The newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam presented their Letters of Credence to His Majesty on January 15, 2019. The audience ceremonies took place at Qashr Al-Meezaan.
