HUGE crowds flocked to the newly opened One City Shopping Centre in Kampong Sungai Hanching where well established local department store Hua Ho has opened its latest branch.
Lau How Kun and his siblings Lau How Teck and Lau How Wei as well as their family members were present.
The department store offers attractive promotional deals and lucky dip and win, exclusively for Hua Ho H2 card holder.
The department store occupied huge areas on the ground floor and first floor of the One City Shopping Centre.
With ample and convenient packing space, the department store offers comprehensive shopping experience for the public.
In addition to fresh produces and vegetables as well as a full range of groceries items, the department store offers clothing, sports equipment, toys, stationery, electronics and many more. There is also a food and beverages corner.
According to Lau How Kun, “We have been planning to open the Hua Ho Department Store here for more than two years. We find this location is very strategic and hope that residents in the surrounding areas will find it convenient.”
Prominent figures in the local business community also visited the latest Hua Ho Department Store.
OKKY Jewellery
OKKY Jewellery Sdn Bhd officially opened its 12th branch in a ceremony at the latest shopping attraction in Brunei Darussalam, One City Shopping Centre.
OKKY Jewellery offers a grand opening sale that comes with attractive discount until January 29.
Owner of OKKY Jewellery Alan Khoo was present.
In an interview, Alan Khoo said that One City Shopping Centre is a strategic location and has the potential to attract many residence around the area.
He said “Since opening my first branch in 1996, the business is still going strong. We see that there is potential in the market.”
He added that the popular and current trend of jewellery is modern design and OKKY Jewellery came from Dubai, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

Jollibee Brunei
A LARGE crowd gathered at the official opening of the 17th branch of Jollibee Brunei at the ground floor of One City Shopping Centre in Kampong Sungai Hanching yesterday.
The grand opening was officiated by Noraizimah binti Haji Raub, Country Head of Jollibee Brunei Christina Ward, Area Group Manager Roilan Alvarez and Branch Manager Ali Zubair bin Haji Ibrahim.
In conjunction of the opening, the first 150 customers who purchase food for BND10 at the latest Jollibee branch get one free Jollibee lunch bag each.
The opening was enlivened with the appearance of mascots namely Jollibee, Hetty, Twirlie, Yun and Popo. Jollibee mascot will also make an appearance today and tomorrow at 3pm, 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
KFC Brunei
KFC Brunei launched of its 17th KFC outlet in the vibrant One City Shopping Centre yesterday, as part of its nationwide expansion strategies.
The opening was officiated by KFC Brunei General Manager Th Ooi, along with the members of the KFC Brunei management.
The newly-launched KFC restaurant can accommodate 92 customers at one time, equipped with upgraded equipment and facility.
KFC will be giving out free KFC recycle bags to the first 50 customers until February 2 and one piece fried chicken with minimum purchase of BND12 for the first three days of store opening to celebrate the opening of the 17th outlet. The first three customers also received hampers.
The new outlet will be able to cater to residents staying in the area as well as customers from schools nearby. Besides One City Shopping Centre, KFC Brunei is also looking to introduce new outlets this year and will be expanding their delivery areas in Brunei-Muara District as well as other districts.
The KFC One City Shopping Centre in Kampong Sungai Hanching opens from 9.30am until 11pm daily. The fast food franchise rolls out new innovative products every two months which are launched in all outlets nationwide.
