DPMM FC second string fall to narrow defeat in pre-season friendly

DPMM FC’s second string fell to a 1-0 defeat to Thai side Ayutthaya United FC in the first match of their pre-season friendly tour at the Ayutthaya Province Stadium yesterday.

The players who started the match were all substituted at the break with the score goalless.

The second team was introduced in the second half without the new foreign trio of Charlie Clough, Blake Ricciuto and Andrey Varankow.

The Brunei-based outfit will play Thai Honda FC next at the 72 Anniversary Stadium tomorrow before concluding their tour against MOF Customs United at the Lad Krabang 54 Stadium in Samut Prakan Province on Saturday.

DPMM FC will begin their campaign in the Singapore Premier League away to Home United on March 3 at the Bishan Stadium in Singapore.
