THE Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) Rotary Club helped spread the festive cheer by handing over daily necessities to five households registered for welfare benefits in the Tutong District recently.
Organisation Chairperson Yapp Giem Eing, nine club members and two medical social workers from the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong joined the initiative in handing out the donations to the less fortunate.
The donated items came in the form of Mandarin oranges, bags of rice, instant noodles, biscuits and toiletries.
“During the festive season, we must always think about the less fortunate and how we can bring joy to their lives,” said President of the BSB Rotary Club Klaus Tomalla.
