AUTORITI Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the 45th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, in His Royal Highness’ capacity as the Chairman of AMBD, at the Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Akar.
Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, who is also the Deputy Chairman of AMBD’s Board of Directors, was present.
Minister of Education and AMBD Board of Director Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman; members of the AMBD Board of Directors, officers and staff were also present.
The ceremony began with mass Asar prayer, recitation of Surah Yaasiin, followed by Doa Kesyukuran led by Imam of Rashidah Saa’datul Bolkiah Mosque Haji Muhd Sadullah bin Haji Salleh.

IN CONJUNCTION with the 45th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the Prime Minister’s Office and its departments organised a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque at the PMO Building Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday.
Minister at the PMO Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud and Attorney General Dato Paduka Haji Hairol Arni bin Haji Abdul Majid were present.
Deputy State Mufti, Chair-man of the Public Services Commission, Judge of the Syariah Court of Appeal; permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretary, heads of departments as well as officers and staff of the PMO and its departments were also present.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil, followed by the recitation of Doa Kesyukuran led by Mosque Affairs Officer Anuar bin Haji Salim.
The event concluded with a mass Asar prayer.

ON THE occasion of His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) 45th birthday, a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony was organised at the UBD Mosque, Jalan Tungku Link recently.
The guest of honour was Acting Vice-Chancellor of UTB Haji Ady Syarmin bin Haji Mohd Taib.
Deputy Rector of UNISSA Dr Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad, assistant vice-chancellor, rector, principal officers, lecturers, staff and students of the UBD, UTB and UNISSA were also present.
The ceremony began with mass Maghrib and Sunnat Hajat prayers led by Mosque Affairs Officer Haji Jufri bin Haji Hidup, followed by mass recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Surah Al-Waqiah and Doa Kesyukuran.
The ceremony concluded with a mass Isyak prayer.
