RESIDENTS of Simpang 262, Jalan 10, Jalan Utara, RPN Lambak Kanan Area 2 or Sejiran Sepakat 262, held a flag hoisting ceremony to mark Brunei Darussalam 35th National Day at the Taman Silaturahim 262 area.
Acting Village Head of tRPN Lambak Kanan Haji Nipah @ Haji Ariffin bin Haji Hassan was the guest of honour. The ceremony began with mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat led by Haji Mohd Affino bin Haji Abdul Hamid followed by welcoming remarks by Haji Kamaluddin bin Haji Mumin.
The event aimed to instil a spirit of patriotism among residents and to enliven the surrounding atmosphere in celebration of the National Day.

SENIOR citizens representing the Veteran Athletic and Senior Citizens Activity Centre (PKWE) will be among thousands of participants who will march and show their spirit of patriotism at tomorrow’s 35th National Day parade in the capital leading to Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien.
The veteran athletes will be among those who will march under the national sporting association of Brunei Darussalam.

STUDENTS from Kindergarten 1-3 of Sinaran Pelangi School participated in the school celebration to mark Brunei Darussalam’s 35th National Day yesterday.
The celebration began with a march past within the school complex carrying their own handmade flags, and singing the national anthem while a flag-hoisting ceremony was held by the teachers.
The event aimed to promote cooperation and unity as well as to instil a spirit of patriotism among the students.
