ELEVEN students from Rikhyo University, Japan comprising one male and 10 females are currently in Brunei Darussalam for a study tour. The group arrived on February 20 and will stay for a week.
Three of the students Mayu Naito, Akari Sato and Nanako Taki had a first-hand experience attending a Tahlil event at the residence of Datin Paduka Dr Hajah Intan binti Haji Salleh in Kampong Mulaut on Thursday. They said they were very lucky to experience a local religious ceremony.
While here, the students are hoping to attend the 35th National Day celebration parade today in the capital. They will leave on February 27.
