THE Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) recently marked Scout Founder’s Day and presented warrants to scout commissioners, scout leaders and assistant scout leaders.
The ceremony began with the national anthem and recitation of Doa Selamat and scout’s oath.
Chief Commissioner of PPNBD Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali congratulated the recipients and expressed hopes that they would continue to be committed and vigilant in shouldering their responsibilities.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of warrants by the Chief Commissioner of PPBND.
President of PPNBD Haji Metussin bin Orang Kaya Sura Haji Tuba presented certificates to mark 85 years of the Scouts movement in Brunei Darussalam.
Deputy President Pengiran Wahab bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Chief Executive Officer Haji Zali bin Arshad, International Commissioner Abdul Manan bin Haji Abdul Latip, members of the National Scout Council and District Scout Council, scout commissioners, assistant district commissioners, scout leaders and assistant scout leaders attended the event.
