RAJA Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital yesterday held the unique launch of its Charity Fund Sale at Lobby 5, where iced almond cookies were placed on a map of Brunei Darussalam by Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management) at the Ministry of Health Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin.
Reportedly one of the largest cookie maps made so far, the ‘jigsaw pieces’ were produced by 100 officers and staff members who worked from February 7 to 24, under the supervision of Hajah Hasinah binti Haji Serudin.
Following the launch, the cookie jigsaw pieces were sold to the public, with all proceeds going into the RIPAS Hospital’s Fund to provide assistance for the patients and hospital staff.
Aside from that, the charity sale is also hoped to provide a positive impact by boosting the value of teamwork and goodwill among the hospital staff.
Also present at the launching were RIPAS Hospital CEO Saidah binti Haji Wahid, together with senior officers and department heads from the Ministry of Health, officers of RIPAS Hospital, and committee members from the Hospital Board of Visitors.
