RAJA Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital held a handover ceremony yesterday, during which BND5,194.50 from the proceeds of its 35th National Day Charity Sale was presented to the Medical Social Work Unit.
Held on the fourth floor of the Women and Children’s Centre, the handover ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat.
This was followed with the presentation of the mock cheque by RIPAS Hospital Chief Executive Officer Saidah binti Haji Wahid to Deputy Head of the Medical Social Work Unit Nuruljannah binti Jumat.
Nuruljannah said, “The money will be put to good use, to help underprivileged patients at the hospital.”
She also conveyed her gratitude to members of the public, for their support during the charity sales event.
