His Majesty leaves Vietnam

HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, left the Socialist Republic of Vietnam yesterday after concluding a three-day State Visit.

Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.

Prior to departure from the hotel, a Doa Selamat was recited by State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned.

Present at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi to bid farewell to His Majesty were Chairman of Presidential Office as the Minister-in-Attendance Dao Viet Trung; Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Sao Mai and Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Brunei Darussalam Do Anh Tuan.

Also present to bid farewell to His Majesty were Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pengiran Haji Sahari bin Pengiran Haji Salleh and officers from the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Prior to boarding the special aircraft, His Majesty walked past a static guard of honour mounted by members of the People’s Army of Vietnam.

His Majesty was then presented with a bouquet of flowers.
