YESTERDAY’S weekly pre-dawn talk focussed on the cosmic structure as a sign of Allah the Almighty’s infinite power and greatness.
The talk was delivered by Director of International and Public Relations Centre at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam, who said that the solar system and its components were established in an organised manner for mankind to ponder upon.
“All these signs show the greatness of Allah the Almighty, so that we as the Ummah would always follow and obey the commandments of Allah the Almighty,” he said.
Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister of Education Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman and Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof were present.
The talk was jointly organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, with the support of the Prime Minister’s Office, for the recent celebration of World Meteorological Day.
The talk was part of the Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat programme, which provided the opportunity for the congregants to begin their day with prayer and spiritual reflection before embarking on the activities for Bandarku Ceria.
