THE Brunei Darussalam contingent at the Rio Olympic Games received a morale boost when His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, who is also President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, paid a visit to the athletes at the Games Village and watched training sessions.
The athletes are Mohd Fakhri bin Ismail (100m sprinter), Maizurah binti Abdul Rahim (200m sprinter) and shuttler Jasper Yu Woon Chai.
His Royal Highness was received by Dayang Umi Kalthum binti Haji Abdul Karim, Chef de Mission of Brunei’s contingent.
His Royal Highness mingled with the Brunei’s athletes and joined the team for lunch at the Games Village’s hall.
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah also signed on the Message Board of the Olympic Games Village 2016 Bara de Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.
