The Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) handed a BND43,200 donation to the COVID-19 Relief Fund yesterday.
The donation was presented to Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at a ceremony at the ministry.
The donation amounting to BND40,000 collected by the RBAF was presented by Commander of the RBAF Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, while the donation amounting to BND3,200 collected from the officers and staff of the MinDef was presented by Permanent Secretary at the MinDef Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah.
The donations are part of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF’s commitment and social responsibility to actively assist the Ministry of Health in managing the COVID-19 outbreak in the Sultanate.
