AS THE nation is promoting the creative industry amongst young entrepreneurs, a local company is teaming up with a Malaysian firm in introducing Islamic products.
Pengiran Adnan bin Pengiran Badaruddin from Ani Nah Industry and officials from Malaysian Muhibbah Sinergia Resources briefed officers from the Mosque Affairs Department and university students at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah hall yesterday on the products.
Pengiran Adnan said the move was made to answer the call for the creative industry and ‘Made in Brunei’ products to be developed and to support the country’s drive towards becoming a hub for research and development in Islamic products.
He added that the young workforce from Ani Nah Industry who are equipped with skills in graphic design acquired from renowned universities were involved in the project. The company hopes to penetrate the overseas market.
The products presented by Noor Arjuna bin Haji Abdul Ghani, Managing Director of Muhibbah Sinergia Resources include donation box with Attar perfumes, handy Miswak pen for brushing teeth, mosque utilities box, adjustable prayer chairs for the elderly and physically challenged Muslims and a cabinet to store prayer items.
